Silence filled the hospital room after the doctor finished speaking. No one speak. They didn't want to believe a single word they had just heard. Kiara? Mentally ill? It felt impossible. Aravi slowly looked at Kiara. Mr. Romano's face had turned pale. Albert stood frozen, unable to process what the doctor had just said. Kavya refused to accept it. But before anyone could speak-

"No!" Kiara's voice exploded through the room. Everyone flinched. "I AM NOT CRAZY!" She sat upright on the hospital bed, her breathing becoming rapid and uneven. "You're lying!" Her eyes darted wildly from the doctor to Rose. "All of you are lying!" She shook her head violently. "No... no... I know what you're trying to do."

Suddenly she pointed a trembling finger at Rose. "This is your plan, isn't it? Her voice rose into a scream. "You want to send me away! You want to keep me away from Ro!" Tears streamed uncontrollably down her face. "So you can have him for yourself! I WON'T LET THAT HAPPEN! I WON'T!"

The doctor instinctively stepped forward. "Mrs. Romano, please calm down. No one is trying to-"STAY AWAY FROM ME!" Kiara screamed so loudly that everyone in the room froze."If you touch me..." She pointed first at the doctor... Then at Rose. "I'll kill both of you!" Her entire body trembled violently. The room fell into complete silence.

The doctor immediately stopped where he was. Rose instinctively took two frightened steps backward, her face drained of color. Aravi covered her mouth. Mr. Romano looked helplessly between Kiara and the doctor. Albert slowly lowered his eyes. None of them wanted to admit it...But seeing Kiara like this.Seeing the rage. The threats. The complete loss of control.

A terrifying thought settled into each of their minds. What if.The doctor was right? No. They couldn't accept that. They couldn't imagine sending the daughter-in-law they loved to a psychiatric hospital. They simply couldn't. Meanwhile, Kiara's breathing became harsher with every passing second. Her head felt as though it would split open. Pain hammered against her skull. Voices echoed inside her mind.

Everything that had happened over the past week... Enzo. Donato. The accusations. The loneliness. The betrayal. The fear. It all crashed together until she could no longer separate one thought from another. She didn't want anyone. She didn't want explanations. She didn't want doctors. She wanted only one person. Her husband. Her safe place. Her Ro. Without thinking, Kavya walked toward the bed.

"Don't-" Albert whispered in alarm. But Kavya ignored him. She knew Kiara. She knew the woman behind the anger. Without hesitation, she sat beside her and wrapped both arms tightly around her. She didn't care if Kiara pushed her away. She didn't care if she got hurt. Because this wasn't violence. This was pain. This was a woman falling apart. The moment Kiara felt someone's embrace...She shattered. All the anger disappeared in an instant.

She buried her face against Kavya's shoulder and broke into heartbreaking sobs. "A-Aunt.Her words came out between desperate cries. "They're lying..." "You know what happened."I'm not crazy. They're lying."I don't want to go to a mental hospital." Her voice cracked completely. "I don't want to go there." She cried like a frightened child.

Kavya tightened her embrace and gently stroked her hair. "Shh. "It's okay. No one is sending you anywhere. You're safe. You're with us. Calm down." Her voice remained soft despite the tears gathering in her own eyes. But Kiara kept shaking her head. "No...They will. I know they will." She clutched Kavya's clothes desperately. "Aunt...Please.Call Ro. I want Ro.Please...I just want Ro."

Her voice became weaker with every word. "Please...Call him.I want my husband.I want Ro. He promised. He said he'd come back. Please.Call him." The room remained painfully silent. No one knew how to answer her. Because the only person she wanted. Was thousands of miles away.

Kavya continued to hold Kiara in her arms, gently stroking her hair as if she were trying to soothe a frightened child. "It's okay.calm down. I'm here..."Her voice remained soft and steady.Kiara's sobs gradually became weaker. Her body exhausted from days without proper sleep, food, and constant emotional torment finally began to give in.

Even as her eyelids grew heavy her lips continued to move."Ro," A tear slipped down her cheek. "Please come back."Another whisper escaped her trembling lips. "I'll wait for you."Her fingers slowly loosened their grip on Kavya's clothes. Within moment exhaustion pulled her into an uneasy sleep. Even then. She continued murmuring Donato's name under her breath. The heartbreaking sight left everyone silent.

Kavya carefully laid Kiara back against the pillow and pulled the blanket over her.For a long moment, no one moved. Then, quietly, everyone stepped out of the room, making sure not to wake her. The door clicked shut behind them. Outside, the doctor let out a slow sigh. He looked at the Romano family with sympathy before speaking.

"Mr. Romano..."I believe you've now witnessed exactly what I was trying to explain." He paused before continuing. "Mrs. Kiara Romano's emotional condition is becoming increasingly unstable. If she doesn't receive proper psychiatric treatment soon, these episodes may become more frequent and more severe."

He folded his hands behind his back. "I'm strongly advising you to admit her to a specialized mental health hospital." "There she can receive proper evaluation, therapy, medication if necessary, and constant supervision. If this condition is left untreated. He hesitated before finishing.

"She may unintentionally hurt someone around her." His eyes lowered briefly. "Or...she may end up hurting herself too." The corridor fell silent. Mr. Romano closed his eyes for a moment before nodding slowly. "We understand, Doctor." His voice was heavy. "We'll think about it. Thank you."

The doctor gave a respectful nod. "I hope you'll make the decision quickly." His eyes briefly shifted toward Rose, who stood quietly near the wall. Then, without another word, he walked away down the corridor. The moment he disappeared around the corner, Albert broke the silence. "What should we do, Mom?" He looked at Aravi before glancing toward Kiara's room. "Should we admit her?"

"No." Kavya answered immediately. Her voice was firm. "Kiara isn't going anywhere." Albert turned toward her. "Kavya..."

"She's not crazy." There was anger in her voice now. "She doesn't belong in a psychiatric hospital." Albert exhaled sharply. "Didn't you just see what happened?" He spread his hands in frustration. "The way she reacted? The threats she made? What if she actually hurts someone?" His voice became quieter. "And more importantly."The doctor said she could hurt herself too."

"What if that happens? Can we take that risk?" Kavya refused to back down. "No. What happened in that room wasn't madness. It was emotional collapse. She's been carrying grief, guilt, fear, rejection, and loneliness for days. Anyone would break under that much pain." She folded her arms. "I'm telling you."There has to be some misunderstanding." "There is no way Kiara has Intermittent Explosive Disorder. I'm not letting anyone send her away."

Albert sighed helplessly. "Kavya-

"Kavya is right." Aravi interrupted softly. Everyone turned toward her. "We shouldn't make such a big decision while Donato is away." She looked toward Kiara's room. "Let's wait until he comes back." "Then we'll decide together." Mr. Romano nodded in agreement. "Yes. Your mom is right. We'll wait for Donato. I'll call him myself and tell him to return as soon as possible."

Only then did Kavya finally let out the breath she had been holding. Relief washed over her face. At least for now...Kiara was safe. No one was forcing her into a psychiatric hospital. But not everyone shared that relief.

Standing a few steps away...Rose silently clenched her fists. Her nails dug painfully into her palms. Her jaw tightened.No...This wasn't supposed to happen. She had worked too hard to arrange everything. The falsified report...The doctor's recommendation...Kiara's emotional breakdown...Everything had been planned perfectly. The family was supposed to panic.

They were supposed to sign the admission papers immediately. Before Donato returned. Before Kiara got the chance to talk to him. Before everything she had built fell apart. Rose lowered her eyes, hiding the frustration burning inside them.No...I can't let this fail. Before Donato comes back...Kiara has to be inside that mental hospital. No matter what it takes. its my only chance to have donato for myslef.
_______

The rest of the day passed in heavy silence. Kiara slept almost the entire day, her body finally surrendering after days of emotional and physical exhaustion. The medication had calmed her enough to let her rest, but even in her sleep her face never looked peaceful. Every now and then, her brows knitted together as if she were fighting nightmares no one else could see.

Kavya refused to leave her side. Albert stayed at the hospital as well, sitting quietly outside the room whenever Kavya insisted on taking a short break.

Meanwhile, Aravi returned to the mansion and told the rest of the Romano family everything that had happened at the hospital. The doctor's diagnosis. Kiara's breakdown. Her desperate cries for Donato. The threats she had shouted during her panic. No one could believe it. The family sat in complete silence.

Sofia shook her head repeatedly. "There has to be some mistake.Nonna crossed herself quietly, unable to accept what she had heard. Mr. Romano remained silent for a long time before finally taking out his phone. He called Donato immediately. The call connected after several rings.

"Donato." His voice was serious. "I need you to come back as soon as possible."

Donato was in the middle of an important business meeting when he answered. The moment he heard the worry in his father's voice, his expression changed completely.

"What happened?"

Mr. Romano explained everything. The hospital. The doctor's report. Kiara's emotional collapse. The recommendation to admit her to a psychiatric hospital. For several long seconds...Donato said nothing.

Finally, he spoke.

"I am coming dad" His voice was calm, but strained. "the flight will take time please send my jet here as soon as possible I'll be there in the morning."

Mr. Romano nodded even though Donato couldn't see him. "We'll wait." After the call ended, everyone shared the same hope. Just one more night. Donato would be home tomorrow. Maybe...Maybe Kiara only needed him. Maybe everything would become clear once they finally spoke.

Back at the hospital, evening settled quietly over the room. Kiara slowly opened her eyes. For a moment she simply stared at the ceiling. Then her gaze moved toward the door."...Did Ro come?" Her voice was barely above a whisper.

Kavya's heart ached. She forced a gentle smile. "He's on his way. It won't be long." It wasn't a lie. Donato really was on his way back. Kiara nodded faintly. She didn't ask another question. She simply closed her eyes again. And waited.

____

Otherside in the hospital, Rose stood inside the doctor's office, her patience running out. "I told you what needs to happen." Her voice was sharp. "She has to be admitted to a mental hospital before tomorrow." The doctor rubbed his forehead nervously. "Miss Rose...I'm sorry. I've already gone further than I should have."

He lowered his voice. "I already lied to the family about the severity of Mrs. Romano's condition and manipulated parts of her report. I cannot force them to admit her. That decision belongs to her family." Rose's expression darkened. "So you're refusing?"

"I'm saying I can't do anything more. If they don't agree voluntarily, my hands are tied." Rose clenched her jaw so tightly it hurt. "So that's it?" The doctor nodded nervously. "I'm sorry." For a long moment she simply stared at him. Then a cold smile appeared on her lips. "Fine. If you won't do it...I'll do it myself."

Her eyes hardened with determination. "Before Donato's plane lands in Italy.Kiara Romano will be inside a psychiatric hospital. No matter what I have to do." The doctor swallowed hard. "Miss Rose... please don't do anything reckless." She slowly turned toward him. The smile disappeared. Instead her eyes carried nothing but threat.

"You work for GoodLife Healthcare. I own this hospital. I also have the power to end your career. If you stand in my way.I'll make sure your medical license is revoked. I'll destroy everything you've worked for." The doctor's face turned pale. His mouth opened. But no words came out. He realized he had become part of something far darker than a simple medical case.

_____

The night passed painfully slowly. Kiara barely slept. Every few minutes, her eyes drifted toward the hospital room door, expecting it to open. Every faint sound in the corridor made her heart race, only for disappointment to settle in again when someone else walked past. She kept telling herself the same thing. He promised he would come. Ro never breaks his promises.

Across the room, Kavya watched her quietly. The sight broke her heart. Kiara wasn't angry. She wasn't shouting anymore. She wasn't defending herself. She was simply waiting. Waiting for her husband. for the one person whose presence could quiet the storm inside her. Kavya rested her head against the back of the chair and closed her eyes for a brief moment.

Her own thoughts were becoming heavier with every passing hour. Should I call India? Should I tell the Rajputs everything? She knew they deserved to know. Kiara was their daughter. But she also knew what kind of storm that phone call would create. If Ayush, Aarav, or Mr. Singh found out what was happening to Kiara...Italy itself might not be enough to stop them from coming. After thinking about it for a long time, Kavya finally made her decision.

Not yet. if things go completely out of control... I'll call Ayush. He's a lawyer. He'll know what to do. He'll know how to protect her.

Morning finally arrived. Soft sunlight filtered through the curtains. Kiara slowly opened her eyes. Before looking anywhere else. She looked at the door. Then at Kavya."Did Ro come?" It was the first thing she asked. Every single time. Kavya forced herself to smile. "He's on his way. He'll be here soon. She stood up and gently pulled the blanket away. "But before he comes.I want my beautiful niece to freshen up."

She lightly tapped Kiara's forehead. "What have you done to yourself? Are you really planning to greet your husband looking like this? There is no chance I'm allowing that. go freshen up" A tiny smile appeared on Kiara's lips. For the first time in days. She quietly nodded. Without arguing. She went to freshen up.

After returning, she sat obediently while Kavya insisted she eat breakfast. Only a few bites. But it was more than she had eaten in days. Kavya considered it a small victory. When breakfast was over, she stood behind Kiara with a comb in her hand. She slowly brushed through her long hair with gentle movements.

"You know..."She smiled softly. "You look the prettiest with a messy bun."She carefully gathered Kiara's hair. "I'm making one today." She chuckled quietly. "It's the kind that will completely steal my brother-in-law's heart. I'm sure the moment Donato sees you. He'll forget every meeting, every argument, every problem. And take you straight home."

Kiara smiled again. A genuine one this time. She remained quiet for a while. Then suddenly..."Aunt." Kavya looked at her through the mirror. "I want to talk to Krish." Her voice became softer. "I haven't spoken to my baby since our anniversary. He must be worried. You know how cranky he gets when I don't give him attention."

A faint laugh escaped her lips. "Could you please call him?" Kavya simply looked at her. For several long seconds. Her chest tightened painfully. How could anyone believe this girl wanted to hurt people? Look at her. She's barely holding herself together. And the first person she's worried about is her little brother.

Kavya's eyes became moist. I don't know why you did what you did, Kiara. I don't know what forced you down that path. But one thing is certain...I will never leave your side. And if anyone has truly wronged you...I won't forgive them. She blinked away her tears before smiling. "Of course. I'll call him."

A few moments later, the video call connected. The screen filled with Krish's face. The moment he saw Kiara sitting on the hospital bed, his expression changed.

"Dii! Where have you been?I've been calling you for days! I thought you forgot me!"

His childish complaint made Kiara laugh softly for the first time in what felt like forever.

"I could never forget you. I'm sorry. My phone broke. I wasn't feeling well. But look. I'm okay now."

Krish narrowed his eyes suspiciously. "You don't look okay. You look weak.

"Kiara smiled. I'll be fine soon. You just keep studying. And don't trouble Mom and Dad."

He pouted dramatically. "I never trouble anyone."

Both of them laughed. For a few precious minutes...The hospital room no longer felt like a prison. After talking to Krish, Mr. Singh joined the call. The worry on his face was impossible to miss.

"Kiara...I've been trying to reach you for almost a week. What happened?"

She immediately forced a reassuring smile. "I'm alright, Dad. My phone broke. I wasn't feeling well But everything is under control now. There is nothing to worry about."

Mr. Singh wasn't convinced Still. He trusted his daughter. "If you are not okay...you feel low. Come home i will take care of everything."

She nodded gently. "I know. I love you, Dad."

"I love you too, princess."

After the call ended, silence returned to the room. Kiara kept staring at the blank phone screen for a few moments before looking at Kavya. A small, hopeful smile appeared on her face. "When everything settles. I want to go to India. I miss everyone. I especially miss my baby brother."

She looked at Kavya with innocent hope. "Will you come with me too, Aunt?" Kavya smiled warmly. She gently tucked a loose strand of hair behind Kiara's ear. "Of course. I'll come with you. We'll go together. We'll visit everyone. And when Donato comes back. We'll all go home." Kiara closed her eyes for a moment. Holding onto those words. Holding onto that hope. As if they were the only thing keeping her heart alive.

____

It was nine o'clock in the morning when the hospital room door quietly opened. Rose walked inside. Her eyes immediately landed on Kiara and Kavya. The two women were sitting together near the hospital bed. Kavya was gently arranging the blanket over Kiara's legs while Kiara looked much calmer than she had over the past few days. They had been talking softly, trying to pass the time while waiting for Donato to return.

The sight made Rose's lips curl into a faint smirk. She walked toward them with measured steps."Kavya." Both women looked at her. "You should go home." Kavya frowned slightly. "Why?" Rose folded her arms. "Aravi aunty called me a few minutes ago. She said Donato could reach the hospital at any moment. So she asked me to send you home. You've been here for days. You should get some rest. I'll stay with Kiara until Donato arrives."

Kavya immediately shook her head. "It's alright. I'll stay."

Rose smiled politely, though her eyes remained cold. "But Aravi aunty insisted. She also mentioned something about Albert not feeling well. You should go home and check on him." The concern instantly appeared on Kavya's face. "What happened to Albert? He was perfectly fine when he left last night."

Rose gave a small shrug. "I don't know. You'll only find out if you go home. Don't worry about Kiara. I'm here. And Donato should be here any moment." She spoke with complete confidence. Kavya hesitated. Something about Rose's tone bothered her. "But-

Before she could refuse again, Kiara gently interrupted. "Aunt..." Both women looked toward her. "You should go." Kiara smiled softly. "I'm alright. And Ro will be here soon. I don't want you worrying about Albert because of me." "Please go and check on him."

Kavya remained silent for a few moments. She looked from Kiara. to Rose. and back again. Finally, she sighed. "Alright. But only for a little while." She stood up before walking toward Kiara. Leaning down, she kissed her forehead gently. "Take care of yourself." Kiara nodded. "I will."

Then Kavya turned toward Rose. Her expression became serious. "Please." "Don't say anything that will upset her. She's only just started calming down." Rose nodded with a small, harmless-looking smile. "I understand. You don't need to worry."

Satisfied though still reluctant Kavya picked up her bag and walked out of the room. The door clicked shut behind her. Silence immediately settled over the room. For several long seconds... Neither woman spoke. Kiara calmly turned her head toward Rose. "You can leave too." Her voice carried no anger. No bitterness. Only exhaustion.

Rose slowly looked at her. Then...She smiled. Not the polite smile she had shown Kavya. This one was different. Cold. Satisfied. Almost victorious."I'm afraid I don't have any plans to leave." She slowly walked closer to the bed until she was standing beside it. "I'll stay right here. until I make sure you leave this hospital bed-

She leaned down slightly .and go straight to a bed in a psychiatric hospital." A quiet chuckle escaped her lips. Kiara's eyebrows slowly knitted together. She stared at Rose without understanding. "What do you mean?"

Rose ignored Kiara's question completely. Instead, she walked toward the chair beside the hospital bed and sat down gracefully, crossing one leg over the other. A strange smile lingered on her lips. She looked at Kiara for a long moment before speaking. "Let me tell you a story." Her voice was calm. So calm that it made the silence inside the room feel heavier."

"It happened a long time ago There was a little girl A lonely little girl. She didn't have any siblings. She didn't have any friends. She hated talking to people. She hated crowded places. She preferred sitting alone during lunch while the other children laughed and played together."

Rose's eyes slowly drifted toward the hospital window as if she were watching the memories unfold before her. "School was never kind to her The other children mocked her. They laughed because she always sat alone. They teased her because she had no brothers or sisters They used to say. "'No one likes you.' You'll always be alone. They didn't know she wasn't alone because nobody loved her."

"They simply didn't understand her. She only had her parents. They loved her more than anything. But they were successful people. They spent most of their lives working. They wanted to give their daughter every luxury she could ever dream of. They bought her everything she wanted. Everything...except time."

"They missed school events. They missed parent-teacher meetings. They missed birthdays. They always promised...Next time. Rose smiled bitterly. There was always a next time. But one afternoon.Everything changed. She looked back at Kiara. Some boys cornered that little girl after school They pushed her. Mocked her. Took her schoolbag."

"She was too frightened to fight back. She simply stood there. crying. A faint warmth finally appeared in Rose's expression. And then. Two boys arrived. They weren't the strongest They weren't the biggest. But they stood between her and those bullies without thinking twice. They fought for her. They protected her. They gave her back her schoolbag. And then.

"They smiled at her. They asked. Are you alright ? Rose let out a quiet laugh. From that day.She wasn't alone anymore. She didn't had one friend. She had two. The three of them became inseparable. They grew up together. They attended the same schools. Later. They joined the same college." Different departments. Different classrooms. But everyone on campus knew them. The famous trio."

"They were always together. They laughed together. Skipped classes together. Celebrated birthdays together Cried together They became each other's family. Rose's smile softened. It was those two boys. who brought out the cheerful side of that lonely girl. They taught her how to laugh. They taught her how to trust. They gave her a life she never believed she deserved. For the first time. She wasn't surviving. She was living."

Her fingers tightened slightly around the armrest. But life has a strange habit of changing. As the years passed. That little girl slowly fell in love with one of those boys. It wasn't sudden It happened quietly. One smile at a time. One conversation at a time. One memory at a time. But she never told him. Because. He only saw her as his little sister. As his best friend. Nothing more."

"So. She buried those feelings. Locked them deep inside her heart. And pretended they had never existed. Her smile disappeared. "Then. One day. The world collapsed. Her parents died. Rose's voice grew quieter. They were gone in a single moment. The only family she had Disappeared. She was devastated. She couldn't understand how life could continue when hers had ended."

"She stopped eating. Stopped smiling. Stopped speaking. Those two boys stayed beside her every single day. They tried everything to make her smile again. They refused to leave her alone. But even with them beside her. She still felt empty. As if the entire world had ended the day she lost her parents." Rose fell silent. The room became deathly quiet. Kiara didn't interrupt. She didn't speak. She simply sat there. Listening. Watching Rose carefully. Waiting for the story to reveal why she was telling it.

"After her parents died..." rose continue Her voice dropped to a whisper she couldn't stay there anymore. Every street reminded her of them. Every room reminded her of the life she had lost she was terrified. she was depressed.she stopped talking to people and became the same lonely girl she used to be. So she decided to leave."

"To go somewhere no one knew her. Somewhere she could breathe. Somewhere she could heal. rose lowered her gaze. she left everything behind. she told herself that when I came back. I would finally confess. I would tell the man I loved how I had felt all these years. A bitter laugh escaped her lips. But life had another surprise waiting for her."

She slowly looked at Kiara. she found out he was getting married.her whole world collapsed for the second time. she thought. Maybe this is her punishment. Maybe he was never meant to be her. So she stayed away. she accepted it Or at least...she forced myself to believe she had. Rose's fingers tightened around the armrest until her knuckles turned white. "Months passed." "Then his birthday came. she thought...she will surprise him one last time.'"

"She will see him smiling, wish him well, and finally let him go forever. A single tear rolled down her cheek. But when she saw him. standing beside his wife smiling. her heart shattered into pieces. Rose breathing grew uneven. Even then. she didn't interfere. she looked at both of them and told herself...If he's happy...Then I'll be happy too.'"

She was ready to walk away. Forever. Her expression slowly darkened. But fate...It kept pushing her back toward him. then she found out the woman he married...was the very person he hated the most. his stalker. The woman who had lied to him." Kiara know that rose was talking about herself but she didn't said anything she let her complete.

"The woman who had betrayed him. rose continue. Rose's eyes burned with anger. "she thought she was a good woman. she thought she would protect him. she thought she would give him the happiness she couldn't." Her voice rose with every sentence. " But she wasn't. She was the reason for his suffering. She kept deceiving him. She built their marriage on lies." rose stood abruptly from her chair.

The chair scraped harshly across the floor. "I couldn't stand by and watch anymore. I wasn't going to let her keep hurting him. I swore. I would throw you out of his life." now she is talking openly Her eyes locked onto Kiara. "You." She pointed a trembling finger at her. I would make sure Donato finally saw who you really were."

Silence filled the hospital room. Kiara had listened to every word without interrupting. Without defending herself. She simply watched Rose. Studied her. Then. To Rose's surprise. A quiet chuckle escaped Kiara's lips. Rose frowned.

"What are you laughing at?" Kiara slowly lifted her tired eyes. For the first time since Rose had entered the room. A faint smile appeared on her face. Not a happy smile. Not a mocking one. Just... a sad smile.

"So" She whispered softly. "That was your story." Rose's jaw tightened. Kiara looked at her for a long moment before speaking again. I almost feel sorry for you. Rose's face hardened "Because no matter how much you loved him." Her voice remained calm. "You were already too late. A tear rolled down her cheek. He chose me. She placed a trembling hand over her own heart. And I chose him."

Her lips curved into a small, fragile smile. "It hurts, doesn't it? To love someone for years. and still watch them belong to someone else i once feel that pain too, but i fought for my love." Rose's breathing became heavier. Kiara never looked away. "He was never yours to lose." Another tear slipped down her face. "He has always been MINE, my husband."

Her smile trembled. "And no matter how much you hate me. No matter how much you try to separate us. "You can't erase that." She held Rose's furious gaze. "Donato Romano is always been Kiara Romano's "He has always been mine." "And He will always be the man I love MY MAN."

Rose laughed. A cold, mocking laugh that echoed through the quiet hospital room. "He was yours, she said crossing her arms. But not anymore. Kiara slowly lifted her eyes to meet hers. Rose's smile widened. I mean...she said with deliberate cruelty, "what man would stay with a mentally unstable woman?"

She looked Kiara up and down. "Just look at yourself. Look at the condition you're in. The doctors have already said it. You're mentally ill, Kiara. No man wants a wife like that. She let out another laugh.

Kiara's breathing instantly became uneven. "I'M NOT CRAZY!" Her voice echoed through the room. "I don't have any diagnosis. They're lying!"

Rose shrugged as though she had expected that reaction. "No one is lying. The only liar here..."is you." Her voice turned sharp. You lied to your husband. You betrayed him. You hid the truth from him for years. You made him believe a false life." Every word struck Kiara like another blow. Rose stepped a little closer. "You've destroyed everything with your own hands You only have yourself to blame."

Something inside Kiara snapped. With a cry of frustration, she swept the nearby medical tray off the table. Metal instruments crashed onto the floor. The sharp sound filled the room. "I'M NOT WHAT YOU THINK I AM!" Kiara shouted. "I'M NOT THE MONSTER YOU'RE MAKING ME OUT TO BE!" She stood up despite her weakness. Her hands trembled violently. "My husband loves me. He always will."

Her eyes burned with desperate determination. "I know you did something. I know those reports are false. The moment Ro comes back I'll tell him everything. I'll tell him the truth. And when he learns what you've done He'll never forgive you."

Rose only smiled. "Oh? And why would he believe you? She folded her arms. When he sees your medical report..."who do you think he'll believe? You? Or the doctors?" Her smile became colder. To him. You'll just look like a woman who has completely lost control a crazy women."

Kiara clenched her fists so tightly her nails dug into her palms. "I'M NOT CRAZY!" She took another shaky step forward. "YOU ARE! Leave! Just leave from here GET OUT!" Her breathing became faster and faster. Her head throbbed painfully. The pounding behind her eyes returned with frightening intensity. She pressed a trembling hand against her temple. "Please Her voice cracked. "Just go. It won't end well if you keep pushing me."

Rose remained exactly where she was. "I don't think so. She tilted her head, a mocking smile spreading across her face. I'm staying. She slowly spread her arms. So..."Show me what you can do." Her smile grew even wider. "You crazy psycho woman."

Those four words became the final thread holding Kiara together. Something inside her finally snapped. The pounding inside her head became unbearable. The room blurred before her eyes. Her breathing turned ragged. Without thinking Without realizing what she was doing Her hand reached for the surgical scalpel lying on the medical tray nearby.

In the next second, she lunged toward Rose. Rose's eyes widened in genuine shock. For a split second, even she hadn't expected Kiara to react like this. She immediately grabbed Kiara's wrist before the blade could reach her. "No, Kiara!" The two women struggled against each other. Kiara wasn't thinking anymore. The migraine, the emotional pain, the accusations, the fear of losing Donato...Everything had exploded at once.

Rose tightened her grip around Kiara's wrist while secretly adjusting the angle of the scalpel. Her own body shifted deliberately. She positioned the blade closer to herself. She had already noticed someone approaching outside the room. The footsteps. The shadow beneath the door. She knew exactly who was about to walk in. The hospital room door suddenly flew open.

"KIARA!"

Donato's voice thundered through the room. Both women froze for a fraction of a second. From where Donato stood, the scene looked horrifying. Kiara was standing over Rose with a scalpel in her hand. Rose appeared to be desperately trying to stop her. To him...It looked like his wife was trying to kill his best friend.

Kiara's eyes shot toward the door. "Ro..."The moment she heard his voice, her entire body flinched. Her grip loosened. Rose's hand shifted at the same instant. The struggle changed direction. Neither of them had full control anymore. Then The blade drove forward. A sharp gasp escaped Rose's lips.

Her entire body stiffened. She looked down slowly. The scalpel had sunk into her abdomen. Blood immediately soaked through her clothes. For one terrifying second...Everything went silent. The scalpel slipped from Kiara's trembling fingers and clattered onto the floor. Her face turned completely white. "N... no..." She stared at the blood on Rose's clothes in horror. I didn't..."

Before Rose could collapse, Donato rushed forward and caught her in his arms. Blood poured through his fingers as he pressed his hand against the wound. " DOCTORS" His roar echoed through the corridor. Within seconds, nurses and doctors rushed inside. They froze at the horrifying sight before immediately springing into action.

"Move! she is losing blood! Get the operating room ready!" The medical staff carefully lifted Rose onto a stretcher and rushed her out of the room. The hallway filled with hurried footsteps and urgent voices. Donato remained standing exactly where they had left him. His breathing was uneven. His hands were stained with Rose's blood. His eyes slowly shifted toward Kiara.

She hadn't moved. She stood frozen in the middle of the room. Her hands shook uncontrollably. Tears streamed silently down her face. She looked completely broken. But Donato couldn't see that. All he could see...was the image of Rose bleeding in his arms. His mind replayed the scene over and over.

Kiara holding the scalpel. Rose struggling. The blade. The blood. His chest tightened painfully. Enzo's face flashed before his eyes. Then Rose. His thoughts became one unbearable question. Was losing Enzo not enough...?Had she really tried to take Rose away from him too? The doubt, the grief, and the horror merged into something far darker.
